Initiatives unique to the Daiki Group
The Daiki-Group, which employs more than 1,000 people, holds various events such as cherry blossom viewing, BBQs, and futsal at each of its locations. Since many of the employees are in their 20s and are close in age to the international students, we have heard comments such as, “We were able to visualize the kind of Japanese working adults we aspire to be,” and “The BBQ event led us to hang out together in our private time”. This is “only possible at the Tokyo base”!
For Daiki employees, exchanges with international students are a good opportunity to gain cross-cultural understanding. And it is a very valuable experience for international students to hear real work stories from working people who are active in the front lines of Japanese manufacturing. The Daiki-employees you interacted with during the event may become your seniors or supervisors in the future.
